Welcome to The seqWell Scope! This latest issue is focused on low-pass whole genome sequencing, but before we get into that, I would like to share some takeaways from our attendance at the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) conference held earlier this month in Orlando, FL.
AGBT is by far the marquis event on the genomics calendar. It’s a great opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues, old and new, to discuss and learn where the field of genomics is heading. During our conversations, and through our poster presentations, we shared some of the new projects our incredible and dedicated team has been working on here at seqWell. I highly recommend having a look at the work our own scientists presented at this year’s meeting describing upcoming products and exciting new applications of our plexWell technology.
The trends at this year’s AGBT meeting were headlined by the arrival of new sequencing platforms that promise to expand the range of options available to NGS users for a vast number of different sequencing applications. We’re excited to be collaborating in this area as we help enable multiplexed sequencing applications with simplified, powerful workflows.
In an era where sequencing data is now easier and less expensive to produce than ever, seqWell’s mission remains focused on how to help unlock the power of sequencing instruments with products and kits that make sequencing faster, easier and better.
